Meet Tuffy he is a 6yr old Percheron Morgan Cross Gelding Standing 16.2H tall & weighs 1,250lbs. Tuffy is a super versatile guy, he will ride Bareback & Bridleless, English, Western, & he pulls a carriage very well he is safe for any level of rider or driver. Tuffy is a sweet big boy he has great personality and a pleasure to have in the barn, he has a nice quiet disposition whether you're handling him on the ground, under saddle, or pulling the carriage he stays consistent and easy going. He is very safe on the trails, he will follow patiently and lead confidently, he will go wherever you point him. Tuffy also has alot of driving experience he stands well to be hooked and drives very well, he has been driven on the state roads, through town and is not bothered by anything. Tuffy has a great foundation and is ready to excel in low level dressage, fox hunt, trail ride, carriage rides, or being your favorite equine partner, he is beginner friendly and would be a great horse for someone to gain confidence. We have really enjoyed having Tuffy in our program the past 5 month. He is currently barefoot on all 4 feet and requires no maintenance he is 100% sound and has no vices. Tuffy stands well for the farrier,& to be groomed and bathed, he will load and haul with no issues.
